
Here’s a good recipe to try during the pandemic: pita pesto pizza!
Cut up the pita to desired size and spread lightly with olive oil and then pesto sauce (I like the Classico brand) on the bread’s rough side. Next, place shredded mozzarella cheese on top. Sprinkle some garlic powder, basil and parmesan cheese (optional). Place the pita pesto pizzas on a baking sheet or pizza stone in the oven at 425 degrees for 10-12 minutes. After taking the pita pesto pizza out of the oven, let it rest for a minute. Then serve.
It is really delicious!
