New England dining reviews >>> Park Street Ice Cream, Natick, MA A Flavorful, Hidden Natick, MA,
Gem:
Park Street Ice
Cream colorful,
tiny schoolhouse-like building
behind the expansive Natick town common. Quite popular amongst locals,
but
virtually unknown to anyone else beyond the Natick area, Park
Street Ice Cream has been in business 29 years, makes its
homemade ice cream on the premises, and also features an impressive
sandwich menu. Seating is limited, the service quite friendly, and the
plain, old-fashioned look of the shop will remind baby boomers and the
senior set of the ice cream parlors from where they grew up.
You'll find all the familiar flavors here, including
chocolate,
vanilla, mint chocolate chip, Oreo, M&M and peppermint stick.
Whether in the form of an ice cream cone or sundae (they offer slush,
floats, shakes, ice cream sandwiches, frozen yogurt and cookies, too!),
the ice cream at Park Street Cream is high-quality, high
butterfat content-caliber stuff at reasonable prices -- and a large
town green for the kids to run around and for you to burn off those
calories! |
