Article by Eric H. Ketchup is good, mustard just fine but Maple Bacon Aioli simply out-of-this-world. Stonewall Kitchen in York, Maine, has come up with one of those culinary "aha moments" with this condiment that combines two foods that virtually everyone loves: maple and bacon. The sweet, pure maple syrup, when combined with smoky bacon bits in a mayo-like base, makes for an absolutely mouthwatering experience. It's really fantastic on burgers, chicken, sandwiches (including BLTs) and for marinating grilled red meats. Why didn't anyone think of this condiment/marinade before? We'll never know but we're just glad that our friends to the north at Stonewall Kitchen thought of the idea!
