A Visit to the Natick Mall (formerly the Natick Collection) A VisitingNewEngland.com top pick for shopping mall destinations in New England ![]() by Eric H. VisitingNewEngland.com How times have changed as the Natick Mall erases all previous memories of dark, cavernous-like shopping malls and the stores that went along with it like Music Land and Spencer Gifts. With Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom, along with JC Penney, Lord & Taylor, Macy’s, and Sears, the upscale Natick Mall is a shopper's dream. Several years ago, this Route 9 shopping landmark took on an extreme mall makeover becoming the 270-store Natick Collection (and then recently switching its name back to the Natick Mall again) featuring two concierge centers, 7,000 parking spaces, ultra comfortable soft seating, amazing landscaping with a fountain area, solar panels, and an overall sparkling bright, clean shopping atmosphere. Add some more special shopping and eating destinations like American Girl, J Crew, The North Face, California Pizza Kitchen and the Cheesecake Factory, and voila, you have one of the best shopping malls in New England. It looks like no other mall, and caters to every walk of life. Well integrated into the modern 21st century, this is certainly not your 1970s-style mall!
