Fun Winter Activity: Cross Country Skiing in Jackson NH

Fresh air, beautiful scenery, a great workout and an affordable, fun winter activity — what’s not to like about cross country skiing?

In New England, the not-for-profit Jackson Ski Touring Foundation in Jackson, N.H., stands as one of the best for cross country skiing, offering extensive cross country and snowshoeing trails, as well as programs for all ages. It’s actually the largest cross country ski area in the eastern United States, and connects with other area trails!

Not only is Jackson Ski Touring a fantastic cross country ski destination, but it’s also located within one of New England’s most beautiful villages. We have written an article on Jackson, and highly recommend visiting here no matter what time of the year.

For more information on cross country skiing in this classic White Mountains community, log onto the Jackson Ski Touring Foundation web page.
