If you feel that you’re budget is skating on thin ice, we recommend gliding on over to Winter Skate at Patriot Place in Foxborough, Mass. The 60X140 ft. outdoor public skating rink offers a well-maintained, affordable winter recreation activity for skaters of all levels.

Presented by Reebok, Winter Skate operates seven days a week and also features an observation deck for non-skaters, site skate rentals, concessions and bathrooms. Admission to the rink is $8 for adults, and $6 for seniors 65 and up and children 12 and under. Parking a is free.  Additionally, the skating rink is right next to many Patriot Place shopping and entertainment attractions, including 16 restaurants, a nice variety of shops, a 14-screen Cinema de Lux movie theatre and The Hall at Patriot Place.
