There's really nothing to do at Clifton Dock, and that's the

beauty of the place. Simply a dock with water, boats and mountain views, the simplicity of the hidden Northeast Harbor, Maine, coastal oasis will make you wonder why we have to deal with so-called  "civilization" -- the rat race, the dirt, the pollution, and the tempers, stresses and hostilities of urban and suburban living.  Here, it's just peace and quiet, and scenery that, simultaneously, make your heart race and yet feel soothed. Sometimes taking the road less taken can lead to discoveries like Clifton Dock where there are no expectations, only instant memories.
