The Vermont Press Room reports that the Vermont Days weekend celebration will take place, June 11-12, 2011, where Vermonters and visitors can enjoy (for free) state parks, cultural and historic resources.

The Vermont Press Room press release states that on Vermont Days, “State Park day areas, state-owned historic sites, and the Vermont History Museum will be open at no charge all weekend.” Additionally, “free fishing day” will take place June 11 — the one day of the year when residents and non-residents may go fishing without a license, according to the Vermont Press Room.
