Sometimes, the best things in life are free. Such is the case with Bird Park in East Walpole, Mass.

This beautiful 89-acre park features stone walkways leading you past open, grassy fields, small walking bridges overlooking the water, mature shade trees, tree groves, and ponds. As witnessed here, Bird Park is especially attractive in the fall. Rustling through the leaves and enjoying the fall colors is definitely part of the fun at Bird Park during autumn. Now is a great time to visit as the foliage will soon become a thing of the past.

Owned by the the Trustees of Reservations (overseeing 53,000 acres on 94 reservations in Massachusetts), scenic Bird Park is indeed a walker’s paradise!

Bird Park is located on Washington Street in Walpole, MA. Tel. (508) 669-6136.
