Lovers of jams and jellies, your prayers have been answered by hard-working monks in north central Massachusetts.
At St. Joseph’s Abbey in Spencer, monks craft these fresh-tasting jams and jellies with no artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives (including the dreaded and dangerous high fructose corn syrup).
As a Massachusetts native, I buy these jams and jellies whenever I can to support the monks’ noble, altruistic mission while enjoying the great-tasting preserves.
Fortunately, you don’t have to live in Massachusetts to also enjoy these jams and jellies. I found many of the flavors on amazon. Great to live in the 21st century, isn’t it?
You can buy Trappist Preserves right here. This collection includes Concord Grape Jelly, Damson Plum Jam, Red Raspberry Jam with seeds, Blackberry Seedless Jam, Boysenberry Seedless Jam and Quince Jelly. My personal favorite: the Concord Grape Jelly!
