Farmers Markets In Connecticut

The Northeast Organic Farming Association of Connecticut (CT NOFA) has compiled an impressive list of farmers markets in Connecticut. The list is neatly categorized by county, stating dates, times, locations and, whenever possible, web site resources. From Bethany to West Cornwall and everything in between, it all looks great!

We, at the Thrifty New England Traveler, are strong believers in visiting local farmers markets. These type of events are good for the community, local businesses and your health — there’s nothing quite like eating fresh-from-the-farm fruits and vegetables! Of course, farmers markets often go far beyond produce. Many that we’ve been to also sell items like cheeses, meats, fish, eggs, baked goods, pastas, honey, jams, herbs and craft items. We suggest you research many of the Connecticut farmers markets listed by CT NOFA to find out what they offer!
