The Red Barn Pizza in North Eastham, Mass., near the Cape Cod National Seashore, satisfies as an inexpensive family dining spot specializing in pizza and pasta. It also serves as an alternative to those that have had their fill of, or can’t stand seafood. That would be a shame when visiting Cape Cod, but, hey, sometimes a slice of pepperoni and, for the adults, a glass of beer fills those innate biological cravings.
With indoor and outdoor seating, plasma televisions and — in addition to the pizza and pasta — “15 minutes please” staples like subs, Greek Salads, burgers and onion rings, the Red Barn Pizza actually goes beyond your basic house of pizza fare. The pizza is outstanding — a right mix of cheese, tomato and topping(s) — and the novelty of eating in a barn-like structure near the beach during the carefree days of summer are the memories that linger well into the winter.
